Exhibits

The Hawaii Plantation Museum displays artifacts like kaukau (food) tins, cane knives, flume, plantation pay system exhibits, historical photos, and documents about the sugar industry days. In addition, there is a wonderful collection of Mom & Pop store memorabilia.

A Pete Beamer wagon, an original Olaa Steakhouse Restaurant booth, shaved ice machines, and a 1940's phone booth (it works!) bring back fond memories of days gone by. Also, an extensive number of original storefront signs for businesses like Moto's Inn, Sun Sun Lau, Nick's Garage, and Sputniks (a new donation) populate the high walls of the museum. We welcome visitors of all ages to visit our museum and experience plantation days.
